Altenew February 2018 Inspiration Challenge

Hi everyone. Thank you for stopping by.  I am participating in the February 2018 Inspiration Challenge on Altenew Blog. Today I have a beautiful Altenew card that I created using the Garden Treasure Stamp Set. I bought this stamp set a while back and I used it so many times. It’s a beautiful stamp set. Here’s my take on this challenge.

And here is the Inspiration picture from the Altenew Blog.

I picked the dark pink and light pink color from the Inspiration and green for the leaves of course. The stamp set I used has large and small flowers so it is perfect to build a flower cluster.

Since I wanted to introduce a few more colors in this project I thought Black and white always adds a pop.

Then I stamped the flowers and leaves with clear Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I did a simple quick coloring using Copics.

I die-cut a ring using Simon says stamp stitched circle dies and started arranging my flowers and leaves around the ring to create a wreath-like cluster. The back of the flower cluster is sponged with green dye ink from Ranger.

The white panel was matted on a black panel 1/8th inch bigger to create a black border around it.  Then it is mounted on a white card base slightly larger than the black panel.

This is my take on the challenge. I am a big fan of Altenew Products.

Hope you liked this card.
