Hello and welcome!
I have two Thank You Cards to share here today featuring Altenew Always There Stamp and Die set. Same color combinations, same technique but different layout.
If you love Altenew Stamps and Dies as much as I do then you are at the right place. I share lots of inspirations, Techniques and Beautiful creations all the time. Hope you will get inspired to keep creating beautiful projects.
Background:
First Card:
The background of the first card is a 4 and a quarter by 5 and a half inches panel of Slate Grey card stock from Simon Says Stamp. Cut using three rectangle dies, The outermost die is My Favorite Things and the inner two dies are the Stitches Rectangle dies from Simon Says Stamp. I only cut the panel but didn’t detach it. In fact I added some Scotch Tape at the back to keep in intact. Only purpose of using the dies was to add some stitched border around it for extra interest.
Second Card:
For the second card I had decided I wanted to follow the card sketch I saw at Case this Sketch. The panel again is Slate Grey card stock from Simon Says Stamp. I cut three 1 inch strips of cardstock in white grey and black and added along the middle slighly slanted to match the sketch provided. Then I usded the same outer rectangle die I used on the first card to cut this out.
Focal Image:
The focal image on this card is definitely the beautiful stamp. I only used the outline image of two flowers and two leaves and the coordinating dies. I used white card and splatter some guasche in dark grey and light grey color. Later I realized that I should have just used black because I was going to layer that with vellum anyway which mutes the color a little bit.
I cut some flowers and leave out of this splattered card-stock using the Always there die set.
I took a scrap piece of vellum from my stash and stamped some flowers and leaves with Versamark Watermark Ink. Sprinkled some silver Wow Embossing powder. Then heat set it with a heat gun. Used the dies to cut out those images. Then stamped the centers of the flowers with Mustard Seed Distressed Oxide Ink and embossed that using Ranger Clear Embossing Powder.
I then used Mini Glue dots to layer the vellum flowers and leaves on to the splattered flowers and leaves.
Then arranged the flowers on the background panel I created earlier.
Sentiments:
The sentiments on the cards are from I Adore You Stamp set from Altenew. I love how these sentiments are so versatile it can be used for any occasions.
I stamped the sentiments on black piece of card-stock with Versamark Watermark Ink and embossed using White Wow detail Embossing powder.
Then I cut the sentiments with Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strip Wafer dies
Card Base:
The card base is 4 and aquarter by 5 and a half inch A2 size note card created by a sheet of 8 and a half by 11 inches 110lb white card stock cut in half along the middle lengthwise and scored in the middle widthwise to create two top folding card bases.
The Finishing Touch:
Finally after adhering the flowers and leaves and the sentiments to the card panel I added some dots of Nuvo Crystal drops in Yellow, White and Black. The centers of the flowers are dotted with black Nuvo Crystal drops to suggest some stamen.
I loved how these cards turned out. I hope you love them too. The combination of black.white grey and yellow is a very elegant combination.
I have linked to most of the supplies I have used on this card. Hope you will give it a try.
Hugs
Jyoti
