Today, I’m excited to share a charming card project that combines the elegant beauty of the Adriana Oval Frame Craft Die, the adorable Whittle Purring Cat Craft Die, and the versatile Potpourri Flower Set Craft Die along with the Hello Moonlight Script Craft Die. All from Poppystamps. With a dash of creativity and a touch of shimmer, you can create a card that radiates femininity and whimsy. Let’s dive into the details of this project and how it all came together.
Creating a Subtle Background:
For the background, I opted for a classic white-on-white design. I used the Adriana Oval Frame Craft Die, and die cut a white oval frame. I added this frame directly on the card front to add a delicate texture that beautifully complements the main focal point without stealing the spotlight.
The Whittle Purring Cat:
Our star of the show is the Whittle Purring Cat Craft Die, die-cut from black shimmery card-stock. This little feline adds a touch of charm and elegance to the card. I popped the cat onto the background using foam tape to give it a slight 3D effect, making it stand out beautifully.
Floral Elegance with Potpourri:
To create a soft and feminine ambiance, I used the Potpourri Flower Set Craft Die to craft delicate flowers in pale pinks and lime greens. I used the pink from Vintage Pastel Mirror Card-stock pack. These lovely floral arrangements surround the purring cat, offering a touch of nature’s beauty to the card. To enhance my floral arrangement I employed Adriana Oval Frame Craft Die once more, this time using tone on tone lime green pattern paper. With precision, I carefully cut out the leaves to complement the blossoms.
A Greeting That Pops:
The sentiment, a friendly “hello” comes from Hello Moonlight Script Craft Die. l die-cut “hello” in white and added a black shadow layer for contrast. Placed atop the white background and the soft flower arrangements, the sentiment truly pops.
Iridescent Pearl Embellishments:
To add a final touch of elegance, I adorned the center of the flowers with iridescent pearls. These pearls catch the light and create a subtle sparkle, enhancing the card’s overall allure.
With these elements combined, my “Purr-fect Hello Card” comes to life, making it a perfect choice for sending a cheerful greeting to a dear friend or loved one. The combination of textures, colors, and design elements creates a card that’s both elegant and playful, making it suitable for a variety of occasions.
