Hello everyone. Welcome back to my blog. I am showcasing the card I made using Altenew Rose Flurries Dies for my cousin on her Wedding.
I will start off by saying how much I love Altenew products. Each stamp and Dies I have bought from them I have used over and over again in so many different projects and I still never get tired of it.
When I am at work I like to bring some crafts to do if I get any free time at work which rarely happens. I am usually very busy at work. But even the minute I am free I like to do some crafty things.
I used the Rose Flurries Dies to cut these layers of roses in different shades of pink and brought it to work to adhere the layers with a glue. Since this was a wedding card I wanted some glitter. The top layer of the flower is cut using gold glitter cardstock.
To add contrast to the card, I used olive green cardstock to cut out the leaves from the same die set.
This card is side-folding portrait style card which is 7 inches high and 5 inches wide. I cut a panel of cream textured cardstock for the base and matted with a layer of gold foil cardstock 1/8th inch smaller than the base which is then matted with polka dot gold foiled pattern paper.
The Mama Elephant Sentiment:
The sentiment Oh Happy Day is from Mama Elephant. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with extra fine gold embossing powder.
The inside is stamped with “congratulations” which is another sentiment from the same stamp set.
This is how I came up with a beautiful card perfect for a wedding.
I loved it. I am also thinking about making the same card in blue and silver. If I do I will be definitely posting pictures on my blog.
I also love this stamp! The font is really cute.
Thank you.
