Step into a world of shimmer and shine with elegance as we explore the art of hot foiling with BETTERPRESS EVERY OCCASION FLORAL ALPHABET COLLECTION! These large alphabets, accompanied by their sub sentiments, offer endless possibilities for creating stunning cards available for almost any occasion you need a greetings card for. Join me on a journey through four unique creations, each infused with elegance and charm. For today’s project I decided to use these press plates for hot foiling on my cards.
First Card: “I Miss You”
Let’s begin our foiling journey with the FLORAL I AND SENTIMENT PRESS PLATE. With this “I miss you” press plate we’ll create a card that exudes warmth and affection. I opted to foil the floral alphabet “I” with GLIMMER HOT FOIL ROLL BLUSH which is kind of a rosy gold, onto shimmery BRUSHED WHITE CARDSTOCK. After cutting the foiled “I” with ESSENTIAL STYLISH OVALS DIE and mat it with rose gold glitter oval, this became my focal point. I used foam tape to pop this off the background. For the background I used WOVEN 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER to emboss a panel of brushed white cardstock to add texture to the background. The sub-sentiment is then foiled on a scrap piece and cut out with the smallest oval die and added by the I to complete the sentiment.
Second Card: “Congratulations”
The FLORAL C AND SENTIMENT PRESS PLATE takes center stage on this card, that reads the sentiment “Congratulations.” Foiled with GLIMMER HOT FOIL ROLL IN SILVER onto PLUM COLOR ESSENTIAL CARDSTOCK, it exudes sophistication and elegance. This is then cut out with the ESSENTIAL ARCHED DIE and matted with BRUSHED SILVER CARDSTOCK arch die cut which enhances its allure. Finally the foiled and matted arch is added on a plum embossed background with foam tape to finish the card. I used the WOVEN 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER for all my cards today.
Third Card: “XOXO”
The third card radiates affection and elegance featuring the FLORAL X AND SENTIMENT PRESS PLATE. Foiled in silver onto BRUSHED BLACK CARDSTOCK, it exudes timeless charm. Cut out with the oval die and matted with brushed silver oval die cut, the focal attraction sits on foam tape on the background. The embossed black background adds drama and flair, creating a striking contrast that captivates the eye.
Forth And Last Card: “With Sympathy”
The FLORAL W AND SENTIMENT offers solace and comfort. Foiled in blush onto BARELY PEACH COLOR ESSENTIAL CARDSTOCK, it exudes warmth and compassion. The NOTCHED CORNER FRAME DIE adds a subtle touch of elegance to the foiled “W” while the embossed beige background provides a serene backdrop for the heartfelt sentiment.
