Hello crafty paper lovers! Today, I have the exciting opportunity to bring some of the products from Christmas 2023 Collection to life and share with fellow crafting enthusiasts. I present this glitzy playful pup card that was a delight to create. In this crafting adventure, we dive into the process of creating a card that captures the joy of the season. From die-cutting the elements, creating a background to adding shimmering sentiments, let’s embark on this journey of creativity.
Crafting Playful Pups
Our journey begins with the delightful PLAYFUL PUPS CRAFT DIE set. Choosing one of the charming dog designs, we cut it out of white card-stock. A dash of gray Copic marker brings a touch of realism to our furry friend, creating the pup with love and care.
Whimsical Winter Woods
Adding a touch of nature to our scene, the HEAVY BRANCHING TREES CRAFT DIE come into play. These intricate tree cutouts, also crafted from white cardstock, lend a whimsical winter charm to our project. With careful placement, the trees start to form a picturesque backdrop.
Glittering Sentiments in the Sky
For a touch of magic, we turn to the PEACE LOVE AND BELLY RUBS CRAFT DIE set. Creating a captivating sentiment, we cut out “Peace, Love, and Belly Rubs” on a sky-blue panel. To enhance the enchantment, we adhere a diamond glitter card-stock on the front of the card-base. Then we attach the die-cut sentiment panel on foam tape, allowing the glitter to peek through, creating a dazzling effect.
Bringing it All Together
Our final steps involve bringing our elements together. The trees find their place on the left side of the panel, creating a wintry forest scene. The playful pup takes its spot on the bottom left, and to ground our scene, a strip of glitter card-stock is added along the bottom using foam tape. These thoughtful placements add depth and dimension, completing our heartwarming card.
