Spellbinders Club kits are out and the Small Die of the Month for Nov 22 is this beautiful floral one. Here is what the die looks like:
This is such a beautiful die that cuts the leafy branch and the flowers and it’s layers separately. So you can cut the branch with the leaves using one color and the flowers, berries and two of the larger leaves in any color you like. Here is what I created using this die set.
Started off by die-cutting the leaves with Cosmic Sky Card-stock. Then the flowers I die cut with some peachy pink and pale pinks. For this I used the card-stock from my stash. Because I didn’t have card-stock this color from Spellbinders. I die cut the berries with Waterfall Card-stock and the green leaves with Rainforest Card-stock.
The thin outlines for the flowers I used Glitter card-stock in silver from my stash. It’s hard to capture the shimmer of it on photos but in real life it is so beautiful. Then for the background I simply dry embossed a panel of Partly Cloudy Card-stock with the Embossing Folder Of the Month for Nov 22.
After that I just arranged two clusters side by side so it would fill the whole front of my A2 card-base. On top I added the flowers with foam tape.
Finally added the sentiment in matching card-stock combination to finish off my card. I used Spellbinders Layered Mixed and Matched Sentiments die set which was the Small Die Of The Month Club kit for Sep ’21. I loved this die set and I have used these sentiments in so many projects so far.
Hope this inspires you.
