The Stamp and Die Club for Nov 22 from Spellbinders is this unique floral motif stamp with some beautifully designed sentiments. It also has coordinating die sets to cut out the motif images and sentiments.
It is called Diamond and Arch Motif and here’s what it looks like:
For my card today I used a simple heat embossing technique. Here’s my take on it.
Background
For the background, I wanted a clean and simple white background with a little texture. I used the Embossing Folder of the month for November 22 in a white panel of Neenah Cardstock.
Focus
For the main focus of my card, I heat embossed the larger of the two arch motif images with gold embossing powder. I used Spellbinders Terra Cotta card stock and then die-cut the image using its coordinating die.
Sentiment
Since I placed the image on the left-hand bottom corner, I wanted the sentiment to be on the right-hand top corner to balance my composition. For the sentiment, I stamped and embossed “sending love”
Here you can see the shine of the gold embossing on the terra cotta cardstock. I love how it looks.
With this, I finished my card today. I did not think this card required any extra embellishment.
