Today, I’m thrilled to share with you the process behind crafting a delightful card using the SPELLBINDERS STITCHING DIE OF THE MONTH for March 24. This die set sparks creativity by allowing you to fashion a charming stack of books adorned with a cup brimming with flowers. Join me on this crafting journey as we delve into the steps involved in bringing this card to life.
Die Cutting
With the Spellbinders Stitching die set—a part of their exclusive monthly subscription service—I meticulously cut some color cardstocks to form the components of our book stack masterpiece. The unique feature of this die set is the inclusion of stitching details, which add a delightful texture to the books and the accompanying cup. Carefully following the instructions, I ensured each piece was flawlessly stitched and ready for the next stage of crafting.
Background Embossing
To provide our card with a captivating backdrop, I employed the WOVEN 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER. This ingenious tool imparted intricate woven patterns onto the light blue panel, elevating the visual appeal of our creation. The textured background served as the perfect canvas, adding depth and dimension to complement the focal point of the stacked books and floral cup.
Arranging the Elements
With the die-cut pieces prepared and the background embossed to perfection, it was time to orchestrate the composition of our card. I delicately arranged the stack of books, ensuring they were positioned harmoniously atop one another.
