Recently I have been on a roll creating Christmas Cards. Spellbinders APG die of the month for Oct 22 is this lacy 3D surprise envelope die set. I have used this die to create two Christmas Cards for my post today.
Here is what the die looks like:
Surprise Envelope Christmas Card
I created my first card the way this die was intended to be used. This fun 3D Poinsettia Surprise Envelope folds flat and will fit in an A7 envelope but when you open it, it pops up and has layers inside where you can tuck messages. I used dark brown, light blue and teal combination with holographic card-stocks. The sentiment in this card that says Merry Christmas is also from the same die set.

Tis The Season Card
The front lacy design of the envelope card cut twice and added next to each other fits on an A7 size card perfectly. For the background of this card I used the Scattered Christmas Embossing folder and dark brown card-stock. Then, I die-cut two pieces of lacy design cut with holographic card-stock. I added a light blue card-stock behind it. Tis The Season sentiment is also from the same die set.
I decorated both the cards with poinsettia flowers and leaves that are included in the die set.
